Topkapi Palace + Istanbul Grand Bazaar
Between 8:10 am and 9:00 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Istanbul to transfer to the famous Topkapi Palace . Inside this center of power of the ancient Ottoman Empire we will visit its luxurious patios and rooms , decorated with striking golden tones.
One of the most outstanding spaces is the Treasure Room . There we will see his excellent porcelain collection and a jewel that stands out above the rest. It is the diamond of the spoonbill , the third largest in the world. 88 karat, no less!
We will also visit the old stables and kitchens and the hall where the Privy Council of the army met. Nor will we forget the Pavilion of the Holy Mantle and the Sacred Relics . Did you know that various samples of the Prophet Muhammad's beard, teeth and bow are kept in this place? In addition, more than a hundred copies of the Koran are preserved.
Partial closures
- The tour includes entrance to all the spaces of the Topkapi Palace, except for the famous Harem Room . If you want to visit this room, you will have to pay an entrance fee of 35 Turkish lira (6 euros, approx.).
- The closure of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul takes place on Sundays, during the Turkish religious holidays and on October 29.
After visiting the palace, we will go to the Istanbul Grand Bazaar . You will have one hour of free time to visit their stalls at your leisure. Spices, fabrics, lamps, rugs, bags, watches ... You can find anything!
Finally, we will meet again to conclude the tour at 1:00 p.m. in the Sultanahmet district .

The tour includes pickup from hotels in the following areas of central Istanbul : Ortaköy, Beşiktaş, Gayrettepe, Mecidiyeköy, Şişli, Feriköy, Osmanbey, Harbiye, Taksim, Beyoglu, Galata, Karaköy, Şehzadebasi, Laleli, Aksaray, Beyazit, Sultanahmet, Sirkeci, Eminönü, Findikzade, Fatih, Topkapi, Merter, Eyup, Samatya, and Zeytinburnu.
If you stay outside the aforementioned areas, one day before the activity you will receive instructions from the provider about the meeting point to which you should go.
Return transfer to the hotel from the Sultanahmet district is not included.
