2 Días – Capadocia desde Estambul

Day 1 - FLIGHT TO CAPPADOCIA & NORTH CAPPADOCIA TOUR WITH GOREME

We will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel and transfer you to the airport to catch the Kayseri flight.Once you arrive in Kayseri, we will drive you to Cappadocia and you will join our small group there. We start to discover the Cappadocia world heritage site.

Departure to this fantastic region with its spectacular fairy chimneys, unique in the world. We start the day Derbent Valley (valley of imagination) with its curious natural rock formations and fairy chimneys of different shapes, such as a camel, a hat, etc.

Then we visit the Göreme open-air museum, which preserves churches, chapels and monasteries carved out of the rock with frescoes from the 11th century. Lunch in a local and tasty restaurant. We drive to visit Avanos which is the center of ceramic art in Turkey. It is located next to the Red River, which is the longest river in Turkey. For many years, people used terrocota mud from the river to make ceramics there. We enjoy the pottery demonstration in Avanos and continue to Pasabag Valley (Valley of the Monks) where we will see the fairy chimneys carved as churches.

We will continue towards the Göreme panorama, where we have a spectacular landscape of the Fairy Chimneys and all of the Göreme valley. Then we will make a stop at a carpet and kilim workshop to learn the local crafts and return to the hotel. Free night in Cappadocia.

At night you can optionally attend a Turkish folk dance show.

Day 2 - SOUTH CAPPADOCIA TOUR WITH UNDERGROUND CITY & FLIGHT TO ISTANBUL

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards the most popular valley in the region called the Valley of Love which offers a beautiful view with its graceful shaped chimneys.

Then we visit the underground city of Ozkonak or a similar one, built by Christian communities to protect themselves from Arab attacks.

Lunch in a local and tasty restaurant. We will continue towards the spectacular volcanic landscapes of Güvercinlik (Palomas Valley) and we will admire a wonderful panoramic view of the Uçhisar castle where a natural stone castle offers a great photograph from all its angles, one of the landmarks of the region that offers a great photograph from all its angles.

We will make a stop at an artisan decoration and jewelry workshop and end the tour with an ancient Christian village of Cavusin that offers spectacular views and transfer to the airport. Flight to Istanbul. Private transfer to your hotel.
